1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for, accessing, or using Cloudizero ("Service", "Platform", "We", "Us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the necessary authority to bind that entity.

2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Cloudizero is engineered for legitimate media storage, digital asset management, and global streaming for developers, businesses, and content teams. You strictly agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Store, transmit, or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or malicious exploit payloads.
• Upload or stream media that infringes on third-party copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secrets (subject to DMCA take-downs).
• Perform denial-of-service (DDoS) reflection, unauthorized penetration testing, port scanning, or vulnerability exploits.
• Host Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or terror-related media — zero tolerance applies, and violations are immediately reported to international law enforcement authorities.

3. Zero-Egress Bandwidth Fair Use Policy

Cloudizero waives egress bandwidth fees for legitimate web, mobile, and application asset streaming. To safeguard infrastructure availability across all tenants:

• Bandwidth must not be utilized for distributed DDoS reflection attacks, cryptocurrency mining proxies, or deliberate stress-testing.
• Cloudizero reserves the right to apply temporary edge rate-limiting if malicious or anomalous traffic patterns threaten shared edge POP stability.

4. Subscriptions, Trials, & Billing Terms

14-Day Free Pro Trial: All new sign-ups automatically experience the Pro tier for 14 calendar days without upfront credit card collection. On day 15, unupgraded accounts smoothly transition to the free Hobby tier without data loss.

Payment Processing: Paid tiers are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time with one click through the Stripe Customer Portal in Account Settings.

Storage Overage: On paid plans, storage consumed beyond plan allocations is billed automatically at the flat rate of $0.015 per GB per month with zero service disruption.

5. Intellectual Property & Your Content Ownership

You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all files, binary data, and metadata deposited into your Cloudizero workspaces. Cloudizero claims zero ownership rights over your assets. You grant us solely a limited, non-exclusive license to host, replicate, cache, and transmit your data through our global edge network as instructed by your API and console actions.

6. Account Termination & Atomic Data Purging

When you delete a file, folder, project workspace, or entire account, Cloudizero executes an atomic purge: underlying binary objects are permanently wiped from physical edge storage and corresponding relational indices are permanently removed. This action is irreversible.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cloudizero disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Under no circumstances shall Cloudizero be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from downtime or data loss.
